Hotel right in the centre next to shops. Good sized room, clean and very helpful staff. Get it out the way - it’s a budget hotel, the bed is not great but I find that at every Travelodge. The not an individual hotel issue. The room was large - plenty of space. Everything you’d expect, including USB sockets. Great staff. Went out the way to help us, letting us in 10 mins early and even sorting a mishap (our fault - booked wrong month!) No heat or noise issues like in some previous reviews. Some road traffic but it’s next to a road, wasn’t any kind of disturbance. Other half said smelled like someone had been smoking, however it wasn’t overly strong , a faint smell as they had the window open. We went out to shops and when back the smell was completely gone. Hard one for the hotel as they can’t control previous guests, just manage it by cleaning and opening windows.

I stayed at Travelodge Peterborough Central a couple of nights ago and it was an okay stay. Check-in was straightforward and the room was clean with a comfortable bed, but it is quite no-frills and a few things felt a bit tired. I also noticed some noise at times, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. Overall though, it delivered exactly what you would expect from a two-star hotel and it is good value for money, especially for the location. I would use it again for a short, budget stay.

This is situated in the heart of Peterborough with pros and cons. Classic Travelodge so room, WiFi, shower bed etc all good and perfect for an overnight visit. Not so good is the noise from the street if you have a room on that side. I sleep with an open window and the noise woke me up a few times. There is also no hotel parking but there are plenty of options very close by, both on street and various car parks. Because it is so central, there are lots of restaurants a short walk away but my favourite is the Turkish Kitchen right below the hotel! Food and service is amazing.

I stayed for one night a week ago & was really impressed. The lady on reception was lovely & nothing was too much trouble, the room was tasteful & immaculate. I can’t fault my stay & will definitely return if I need somewhere overnight again. Many thanks for a great stay.

The first room was lovely, large, very clean and the bed was comfortable. Down side is the rooms get very hot very quickly, no air con and the fan hardly cooled it down as well as with the window open. The woman that checked us in was so wonderful, very polite and friendly. We also stayed an extra night it was after 12 our mistake for leaving it last second but she was so helpful and we ended up in the family room. The family room was A LOT smaller than the first room we had and I was honestly surprised by that. The mattress that’s stored under the main bed had stains on it, looked like it’s never been cleaned let alone touched. Location wise is good, 2min walk from the town and there’s a nice turkish restaurant by the main entrance of the hotel. Only thing I would recommend is i wouldn’t walk around once dark or during the night though. Over all we would stay here again but for a shorter time.

Rooms were clean and adequate for the 1 night we stayed here, although a glass each and an additional towel for both of us would have been better we could have requested them but didn't bother , the room was suffice for our needs. Location is central to all amenities , parking is opposite should you require it.

A great location. Room very clean. Unfortunately no on site parking, but nearby car park only charges £5:50P for24 hours. All staff extremely friendly and helpful, especially receptionist Nadia. I would thoroughly recommend the Turkish Kitchen restaurant underneath the Travelodge.

The Romanian lady on Reception is really kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable but with no aircon it was hard to keep cool overnight. Easy walk into Peterborough for food drinks and other leisure activities. We would definitely use again.

I found this hotel to be very clean indeed despite some reviews indicating otherwise. There were no issues with high temperatures in my room. I interacted with several hotel staff during my visit, all of whom were friendly and eager to help me. Particular high praise goes to Patricia on reception who sorted out a late night problem for me. What a star employee.

My sister came from Mansfield. We found each other after 53 years after suddenly since mum passed away. We went down to the Turkish kitchen which was just down to the side which was very very good for us because we both have healthy issues. I was actually surprised by the Travelodge is actually quite nice. Wasn’t allowed people who always on site you could sit in the lounge there wasn’t an offer of food, but you could get a breakfast in the morning so she stayed here which was quite reasonable for her. It was in the actual just about on the central of town very convenient and not far from us all so but she just needed a place to sleep in that but it was lovely and clean inside absolutely from where it was people would have this idea of saying now it’s just the Travelodge, but I will say it was lovely And of course, the Turkish’s kitchen down at the bottom next to the side was very very convenient for the both of us
